BIFD Silver Jubilee Celebration
The BIFD 25th Jubilee Dinner Dance was held at the sumptuous Cedar Court Hotel in Wakefield on Saturday 2nd June 2007.
As characteristic with BIFD events, preparation was the key and Past President Eric Eyre, ensured not even the smallest detail had been overlooked.
Janice Hutton, Chairperson from BIFD Region C, welcomed the guests at the beginning of the banquet. Speeches and toasts were given and a splendid dinner was enjoyed by all.
The key to the event was the generous sponsorship of the following companies including 1st Choice Photography Limited (Chapeltown), who have kindly allowed use of their photographs within this article.
We gratefully acknowledge the very kind financial support so generously provided by our sponsors and suppliers for helping to make the evening such a memorable event.
The entertainment was provided by the legendary Hatfield Brass Band, who even managed to recruit audience members to participate in conducting and dancing. Dance music was provided by Shiraz.
