B.I.F.D Conference 2025

24^th – 26^th October 2025

This years Conference is being held on 24^th – 26^th October at the Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor.

Held by National President Amanda Pink, who will welcome all Members, Students, and Association Members, as well as members from Kindred Associations for a weekend of celebration and bringing the BIFD back to it’s roots of education.

The Copthorne Hotel is a 4* hotel situated in the historic Windsor, boasting comfortable rooms, with a restaurant and health club. Located just off Junction 6 of the M4. Car Parking facilities are available on site.

The National President’s Charity 2025 is The Lullaby Trust. A charity close to Amanda’s Heart. The Lullaby Trust was originally formed in 1971 by Nancy Hunter-Grey, who was unable to accept the sudden and inexplicable death of her grandson Martin Charles de Selincourt in May 1969. Since then, the charity has been helping families dealing with the loss of children from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, as well as funding studies to look at risks and causes.

Board of Directors Meeting in the afternoon.

Saturday 25^th October

The AGM will take place in the morning followed by a buffet lunch.

Amanda wants to bring the BIFD back to the focus of education, so she has arranged for the afternoon, to be full of talks and meet and greets regarding what we do and how to get involved. The afternoon sessions are open to the public and people who are interested in being a funeral director. For those not wanting to attend, the Windsor Castle and Legoland are nearby.

The evening starts with a drinks reception, followed by a 3 course dinner with wine as well as cheese and biscuits. The Diploma Awards Ceremony will also take place along with the handover of offices.
