Introduction to Funeral Service (Online Webinar)

We are delighted to announce that our popular online webinar ‘Introduction to Funeral Service’ will be held on Saturday 14th October 2023 (timings to be confirmed) and presented by our very own Chair of Education, Mr. Andrew Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is a very experienced Funeral Director, Embalmer, and expert in Mortuary Science. He has trained both in the UK and Canada and runs his own Embalming company and Embalming/Funeral Directing school. His Introduction Course will be most interesting, educational and will cover all the elements of our face-to-face course, including:

• The History of Funeral Service
• The Responsibilities and Duties of Funeral Directors
• The Professional Bodies Involved in Funerals, like The Registrar and His Majesty’s Coroner
• The Challenges that Make the Role so Rewarding

The webinar will be presented online via Zoom. At the end of the course, each candidate will get a certificate of attendance, and an enhanced certificate can be issued upon successful completion of a short assessment. The cost is £75 per candidate and includes either certificate you decide to choose.
